Dinamica de Procesos is an experienced carbon credit development company based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Together, ClearSky and Dinamica are working to develop forest-based carbon offset projects in South America and Africa.
Futuro Forestal, S.A.
Futuro Forestal is a pioneering forestry company in Panama which is recognized for their novel approaches to creating multi-species forest plantations with native rainforest species, re-foresting degraded lands, and emphasizing reverse discrimination and social justice in their operations and labor practices. We’ve been fortunate to work with Futuro Forestal since the mid-1990s.
Huls Dairy is a family-owned dairy that has been operating in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana since 1908. The dairy has become a model for efficiency and innovation in recent years. ClearSky was proud to partner with Huls Dairy to explore options for creating carbon offsets from their newly-installed anaerobic digester, which collects animal waste, breaks it down in anaerobic conditions to generate methane, and burns the methane in a generator to create clean electricity.
Solomon Islands Community Conservation Partnership (SICCP)
The SICCP is an organization founded by the American Museum of Natural History’s Center for Biodiversity and Conservation and the environmental NGO Conservation International. SICCP’s primary role is to implement community-based conservation agreements throughout the Solomon Islands in order to give communities real benefits in exchange for protecting their community lands. ClearSky is working with SICCP and other partners to develop a forest-based carbon offset project in the Solomon Islands, the very first of its kind.
Tetepare Descendants’ Association
Comprised of more than 3,000 descendants of Tetepare Island (of the Solomon Islands), members of the Tetepare Descendants’ Association, or TDA, are former inhabitants of Tetepare who have come together and formed an alliance to protect and conserve the island for the benefit of current and future generations. The TDA is one of the largest landowners’ associations in the Solomon Islands and is a registered Solomon Islands charitable organization with an executive committee of elected representatives. Today, the TDA has transformed from a fledgling landowners’ organization into a world-class community-based conservation organization responsible for one of the largest integrated land and marine conservation initiatives in the country. ClearSky is actively working with the TDA along with other partners to develop a forest-based carbon offset project on Tetepare.
PARTNERS IN STRATEGIC CLIMATE CHANGE CONSULTING
PACT is an international NGO whose mission is to build strong communities and raise living standards for people in developing countries. They have field offices throughout Africa, Asia, and Latin America. PACT realizes that forest carbon projects will have a great influence on the lives of rural and forest-dwelling communities around the world, with large potential benefits as well as risks. They want to empower these communities to engage effectively with the international carbon market. PACT has contracted ClearSky to help shape their mission and strategy with regard to REDD activities, and evaluate their approach to projects in Cambodia, Madagascar, Kenya, and a growing list of other countries.

ACE Rent a Car
ACE Rent a Car is an international car rental reservation company, with about 200 locations worldwide. ACE’s Rental Genius program is the most generous customer rewards program in the industry, allowing people to earn discounts toward rental car purchases, free rental days, and product prizes. ClearSky has partnered with ACE to offer ClearSky Carbon Offsets as rewards in the Rental Genius program.
Clark Fork Coalition
The Clark Fork Coalition (CFC) is a Missoula-based organization that is dedicated to protecting and restoring the Clark Fork River watershed in Western Montana. Their work extends into habitat restoration, dam removal, watershed science, and advocacy and citizen action. The CFC also recently produced a report called “Low Flows, Hot Trout” which examines the multitude of impacts that climate change is likely to bring to the Clark Fork basin. CFC has embraced climate-neutral business practices, and they’re working with ClearSky to measure, reduce, and offset their carbon footprint!
The mission of Climate Ride is to inspire and empower citizens to work toward a new energy future. They use sports as a means of changing lives and building an effective, citizen-based sustainability movement. ClearSky is proud to sponsor the carbon offsets of all Climate Ride: operations, offices, and events.
DAI – Development Alternatives, Inc.
DAI is an employee-owned international development firm based in Bethesda, Maryland which is implementing projects throughout the world. DAI works on projects in diverse and interconnected technical areas including climate change, agriculture and natural resources, crisis mitigation and recovery, health, democracy and governance, and economic development. The company is working with ClearSky to offset the greenhouse gas emissions from its annual conference, and we’re excited to make this a climate-neutral event.
The Daly Mansion
Located in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana, the Daly Mansion is the historic summer home of copper baron Marcus Daly. This 24,000-square-foot, state-owned property is managed in partnership with the University of Montana and remains open for tours, weddings, and other special events. ClearSky is partnering with the Daly Mansion to offer climate-neutral weddings for couples who tie the knot at this extraordinary location.
Edith, LLC owns and manages Higgins Plaza, a 40,000-square foot office buidling with numerous professional suites in downtown Missoula. Higgins Plaza happens to be where the ClearSky headquarters offices are located, and we have worked with Edith to measure and offset all of the greenhouse gas emissions from the building’s electricity and natural gas use. Edith is excited to provide the only climate-neutral office space in Missoula.
Emerald Events and WeddingsEmerald Events
Emerald Events plans eco-friendly events of all kinds. The founder of Emerald Events, Melissa Wagner, is taking her knowledge on the road with the Emerald Certified Seminars tour, which is teaching event planners all over the USA how to incorporate environmentally friendly elements into their work. ClearSky is helping to offset the travel emissions from the Emerald Certified Seminar Tour and is teaching people about carbon offsets along the way.
Farm to Family Montana
Farm to Family (F2F) is a new business in Missoula, designed to deliver locally grown and produced food directly to consumers. F2F has established relationships with a wide range of farmers, ranchers, and food producers, and makes it easy for families to “go local” with a home delivery service. ClearSky is working with F2F to measure and offset the greenhouse gas emissions of the F2F delivery truck, so now the local food option is also the most climate-friendly food option in Missoula! Green Event Company
ClearSky has teamed up with the Green Event Company on their GreenPass program, a climate-neutral shuttle service for concerts and events. The Green Event Company works with some of the premier shows in the country, including the Mile High Music Festival and Phish at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. ClearSky offsets are powering this service.
homeWORD is a Montana-based nonprofit dedicated to making affordable housing available and building safe, strong communities through a mix of real estate development, education, energy-efficiency contracting, and policy advocacy. ClearSky has worked with homeWORD on a number of activities, including an energy-saving challenge at the Equinox housing complex and their annual Sustainability Tours in Missoula. homeWORD has also worked with ClearSky to measure and offset their annual GHG emissions, and we’re very proud to have them as a carbon-neutral partner.
Hopworks Urban Brewery
Hopworks is a Portland, Oregon brewery, featuring organic beers, local ingredients, and cutting-edge sustainability practices. In their mission to become the USA’s very first climate-neutral brewery, Hopworks has partnered with ClearSky to offset their carbon footprint.
La Reserva Forest Foundation
La Reserva is a non-profit organization based in Costa Rica, dedicated to working with local landowners to re-plant native forests around the countryside. They focus on creating corridors between remnant patches of forest, using seedlings grown in local nurseries. La Reserva’s work is helping to sequester hundreds of tons of CO2 each year, and they are working with ClearSky to measure and offset their small carbon footprint.
Life and Leisure Television
Life & Leisure, and award-winning television series, selected ClearSky Climate Solutions to appear in their programming to discuss solutions for the present and the future of their industry. Life & Leisure has also agreed to work with ClearSky to offset a portion of the greenhouse gas emissions related to the production of the ClearSky episode.
Mediaplex, a leading advertising technology company, measured and offset a portion of their corporate carbon footprint with ClearSky. ClearSky measured the greenhouse gas emissions from energy use at Mediaplex data centers, which are being offset with credits from Panama Native Species Re-forestation project. This way, Mediaplex can offer climate-neutral ad hosting to all of their clients.
Pioneer Productions is a commercial production company based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Pioneer serves a diverse array of clients from all over the world and has embraced environmentally friendly business practices in 2009 by becoming a climate-neutral company. Also, ClearSky and Pioneer have teamed up to offer Climate-Neutral Production Packages as an option for Pioneer’s clients.

Sustainable Building Systems (SBS) is a Missoula-based business that is focused on renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions for homeowners and businesses. ClearSky worked with SBS to audit their on-going greenhouse gas emissions from operations and travel, and SBS is becoming a Climate-Neutral Business with offsets from ClearSky!
The Sustainable Business Council
Located in Missoula Montana, the Sustainable Business Council (SBC) supports businesses that would like to pursue more environmentally and socially sustainable practices, while maintaining or enhancing their economic viability. They encourage local shopping in the community and cross-pollination between like-minded businesses. As a member of the SBC, ClearSky provided greenhouse gas consulting services at a reduced charge to other SBC members.
WeddingMuseum.com is a leading online source for wedding website hosting, wedding planning tools, and wedding vendor information. ClearSky has partnered with WeddingMuseum.com to host the ClearSky Wedding Carbon Footprint Calculator, which will allow couples to estimate and reduce the carbon footprint of their wedding events! Also, WeddingMuseum.com has become a climate-neutral business by completing a Greenhouse Gas Assessment and offsetting their carbon footprint with ClearSky.

EcobusinessLinks provides one of the largest online directories for green products and services. They have published a carbon offset provider list and an offsetting price survey to help consumers make informed choices. ClearSky is proud to be included on this directory.
Forest Visions works to preserve the forest knowledge of communities, using participatory techniques to nurture a dialogue among and between communities. This collaboration inspires community-driven forest management projects. They provide tools and training for forest communities to document forest knowledge and management using photography, video, and participatory methods that catalyze experimental collaborative management. We’re inspired by the work of Forest Visions and think you will be, too.
International Green Industry Hall Of Fame (IGIHOF)
IGIHOF is promoting ecological sustainability worldwide. Their mission is to recognize individuals and organizations for outstanding achievements in the Green Industry and provide an educational forum for the international public. IGIHOF hosts ClearSky’s carbon footprint calculator. ClearSky was also nominated for the 2011 IGIHOF.
The International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP)
ISSP is a global professional organization for people who are committed to making sustainability the common practice for business. ClearSky has contributed to ISSP’s educational mission by writing featured articles on carbon offsets and sustainability strategies at breweries for the ISSP newsletter.
Northern Arizona Center for Emerging Technologies (NACET)
ClearSky is partnering with the Northern Arizona Center for Emerging Technologies (NACET) to offer consulting services to local entrepreneurs. NACET fosters small businesses in fields like renewable energy and energy efficiency, and ClearSky staff are serving as advisers on the potential greenhouse gas reduction and carbon offset benefits for new businesses.
ClearSky is partnering with STX Services to broker carbon offsets from our projects. STX specializes in environmental markets to cover any green initiative or obligation across the EU and across the globe. They help clients keep track of their ongoing emission reduction requirements and pro-actively keep their clients in touch with the market.
Caring for Climate
Launched by United Nation’s Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in 2007, “Caring for Climate” is the UN Global Compact and UN Environment Programme’s initiative aimed at advancing the role of business in addressing climate change. It provides a framework for business leaders to advance practical solutions and help shape public policy as well as public attitudes. In order to maintain a proactive and leading role in climate sustainability and corporate responsibility, ClearSky is working with Caring for Climate to set company goals, develop and expand strategies and practices, and publicly disclose emissions. ClearSky was excited to be invited to join this diverse and growing list, and we hope to inform others by sharing our experiences and skills.
